As a reminder to our patients, the City of Glendale’s distracted driving ordinance, which took effect Thursday February 7, 2019, prohibits the use of handheld electronic devices while operating a motor vehicle. This is a considered a primary offense meaning officers can pull you over for this violation alone. The fine for the first offense is $250. The use of handheld electronic devices in hands-free mode is allowed.
