As of midnight December 30th, Desert West will no longer deliver at Sonoran Crossing Medical Center but will continue to provide obstetrical and gynecological care to all our patients at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center. Our Sonoran office location will remain open.
For those of you with health plans that specify locations for labor and delivery services, we’re recommending that you contact your insurance company as soon as possible to review your coverage and delivery options as you may need to transfer your obstetrical care to a provider that delivers at an in-network facility.
If you do plan to transfer your care, you can easily request a copy of your records via the Desert West website or by completing a form in person at any of our office locations. We apologize for any inconvenience.
