Beginning March 2020, Robert Phillips, MD, enters a new phase in his professional career in which he’ll focus solely on surgical assisting and teaching. While he will be missed by patients and staff alike, his patients will be transitioned to Laura Matlock, D.O.
With a passion for women’s preventive care, adolescent health, minimally invasive surgery, and high-risk obstetrics, Dr. Matlock earned her Doctorate degree at Midwestern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale. She then completed her OB/GYN residency at the University of South Alabama Children’s and Women’s Hospital in Mobile before joining Desert West OB/GYN last Fall.
