Laura Matlock, D.O. has joined Desert West. She will begin working as a hospital-based physician and then start caring for patients at both the Anthem and new Sonoran location this fall.
Dr. Matlock returns to the Valley after earning her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Midwestern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her OB/GYN residency at the University of South Alabama Children’s and Women’s Hospital in Mobile.
Her professional passions are women’s preventive care, adolescent health, minimally invasive surgery, and high-risk obstetrics.
“My philosophy is to approach the unique needs of every woman,” she said, “with the goal of building lifelong relationships to promote overall health and wellness throughout each stage of life.”
