PHOENIX, ARIZ. (May 2009) — Desert West Obstetrics & Gynecology is expanding its current Estrella office at 9305 West Thomas Road. Unveiling this August 2009, the new space will feature state-of-the-art equipment and warm views of South Mountain. Once complete, the office will relocate to suite #550 and double in size to 3,000 square feet and six exam rooms.
Obstetrics patients now have the option to deliver at Banner Estrella Medical Center.. The family-centered Women and Infants Services department offers 11 labor delivery suites and spacious, private rooms. Desert West Estrella physicians are receiving full staff privileges at the hospital.
“We’re excited about the Estrella renovation and our new relationship with Banner Estrella," said John DeSalvo, MD. "We anticipate that the expansion and other changes will enhance the experience for our current patients and those looking for quality, personalized medical care.”
The full service practice will be staffed by DeSalvo along with Lisa Jaacks, MD; Robert Phillips, MD; Qi Zhang, MD; Robert Rigby, MD and Kelly Goad, DO. Hours will be Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. An Open House for the new Estrella office is planned for August 2009.
In addition to the Estrella location, Desert West has three other offices currently serving the West Valley: 5601 West Eugie Ave., Glendale; 18275 North 59th Ave., Glendale; and 41810 North Venture Dr.., Anthem.
